Union Notes: Building Depth, Top Preseason Performers, Updates on Young Prospects
The Philadelphia Union are using preseason to reinforce their depth at positions that will be affected by this summer's international competitions.
Philadelphia Union manager Jim Curtin is well aware of the circumstances his club will face in 2024.
The Union are set to lose a handful of starters due to their participation in the Copa America, Euros and Olympics.
“Let’s call it what it is,” Curtin said during his Thursday press conference. “We’re going to be missing our top players a lot of the year. Blake, Lowe, Jose Martinez, Gazdag, most likely McGlynn, Harriel, Sullivan with the Olympics however that shakes out.”
