Tai Baribo Ready to Help Philadelphia Union During Stretch Run of MLS Regular Season
The 25-year-old Israeli forward is expected to provide some much-needed help at forward.
CHESTER — Tai Baribo’s on-field introduction as a Philadelphia Union player didn’t last long on Saturday.
“Me personally it’s hard to laugh when you play 10 seconds, but I’m thankful for every minute and second that I play. I hope to play more,” Baribo said on Wednesday.
Baribo is expected to make a big impact on the Union’s forward corps as the Major League Soccer regular season rolls on, and his upcoming appearances definitely will not last 10 seconds.
The 25-year-old Israeli forward was acquired from Austrian Bundesliga side Wolfsberger during the summer transfer window.
Baribo produced a pair of double-digit goal seasons in Austria after arriving there from Maccabi Petah Tikva.
He admittedly does not like to talk much about himself, but he knows he can excel with the Union at the job he is best at.
