Quinn Sullivan Feeling More Comfortable In Forward Role With Philadelphia Union
Quinn Sullivan's positional move to forward is paying off for the Union.
CHESTER — Quinn Sullivan finds more comfort at forward with every rep he takes at the position.
The Philadelphia Union Homegrown Player shifted further up the field due to the team’s need for a third striker on the depth chart.
Sullivan’s success is starting to show on the field. He started the attacking move that led to the Union’s equalizing goal in Saturday’s 2-2 draw with the Chicago Fire.
Sullivan played 125 minutes over six matches and earned one start. He is already more than halfway to his MLS playing time of 231 minutes from a year ago.
“I definitely feel like I’m gaining comfortability in those areas,” Sullivan said on Thursday. “I’d say I’m really comfortable now and I’ve really grown into the striker role.”
