CHESTER — The Philadelphia Union suffered another heartbreaking, gut-punching result against LAFC on Wednesday night.

Everything seemed to be going in the Union’s favor until Kellyn Acosta equalized in second-half stoppage time.

The Union defense turned in their best performance of the season, Daniel Gazdag converted from the spot and the Union bossed the matchup.

But all it took was one moment for LAFC to pounce and head back home with an away goal in the two-legged Concacaf Champions League semifinal.

I left Subaru Park with plenty of thoughts, so I’m just going to run through them here.
