Philadelphia Union Use Grit, Determination To Top East Group 4 in Leagues Cup
Daniel Gazdag's late equalizer made sure the Union stayed at home for at least one more round.
CHESTER — The Philadelphia Union used sheer hard work, grit and determination to draw Cruz Azul in regulation and top East Group 4 of the 2024 Leagues Cup.
Daniel Gazdag converted from a tight angle in the 88th minute to bring the contest level in regulation.

It may not have come to mind immediately in the 88th minute, but the Union were also motivated by another thing: avoiding the central Florida heat in Orlando.
