Philadelphia Union Re-Enter MLS Play with Thin Center Back Situation

Jim Curtin confirmed that Nathan Harriel is the No. 3 center back behind Jack Elliott and Jakob Glesnes after Damion Lowe's departure.

The Philadelphia Union will finish the Major League Soccer regular season with little depth at center back.

Damion Lowe’s transfer to Al-Akhdoud in Saudi Arabia left the Union with two starting-caliber center backs in Jack Elliott and Jakob Glesnes.

Union head coach Jim Curtin confirmed on Tuesday that Nathan Harriel is currently the No. 3 center back on the depth chart ahead of U22 initiative player Olwethu Makhanya.
