Philadelphia Union "Not Sharp Enough" In Loss to Atlanta
A handful of bad decisions and errors led to the Union's 2-0 defeat.
Philadelphia Union manager Jim Curtin had a short and succinct answer that was included in every answer during Sunday’s post-match press conference.
“Overall, we weren’t sharp enough to take three points. Atlanta deserved the three points,” Curtin said.
The lack of sharpness was most apparent on the two goals scored by Atlanta United inside Mercedes-Benz Stadium.
That combined with a tactical error on Curtin’s end doomed the Union from picking up any positive result in the first of three straight road games.
