However, the Union should not have been in that position in the first place.
The Union made two errors that led to a pair of goals in favor of the Chicago Fire, one of which was more bizarre and frustrating than the other.
The pair of concessions continued a concerning trend of mistakes that have put the Union in bad spots throughout the MLS regular season.
