Philadelphia Union Execute Game Plan To Perfection In Nashville SC Win
The Union did not do anything different on Wednesday night. They just executed a whole lot better.
The Philadelphia Union didn’t do anything new in Wednesday night’s 2-0 win over Nashville SC.
Jim Curtin’s men dug deep and put in a performance that we wanted to see in their previous two road games against Atlanta United and LA Galaxy.
The Union protected their biggest liability in Joe Bendik as well as they could and they looked more cohesive as a unit from front to back.
Of course, there were a few extra doses of chaos thrown into the 90 minutes (and the endless amount of stoppage time that was added), but the Union authored a typical Union performance to make a bit of a statement at GEODIS Park.
