Philadelphia Union Begin Preseason in Spain
New manager Bradley Carnell spoke to reporters on Thursday about the start of the Philadelphia Union's preseason in Marbella, Spain.
The Philadelphia Union started their first phase of preseason training earlier this week.
New manager Bradley Carnell obviously hasn’t had much time to implement his style on the team yet, but he’s liked the positive approach from the group through two days in Marbella, Spain.
“It’s a refreshed philosophy of the Philadelphia Union and there’s a lot of work to do,” Carnell said to reporters on Thursday.
“We’re trying to establish base lines of our foundations and we’re evaluating every day,” Carnell said. “Every day we go further it gives us a little more insight as to how we’re built and where we need to look toward. I wouldn’t say it’s clearly said and done. We’re always looking and I think there are positions that are still open where we feel we might need to explore the market. I know we are close in certain positions and we’ll keep pushing that agenda.”
