CHESTER — A satisfied Philadelphia Union player or coach was nowhere to be found inside Subaru Park after the 3-3 draw with Saprissa that propelled the club into the Concacaf Champions Cup round of 16.
“I said survive and advance all day. It’s the most important thing in this competition, but it’s a tie that’s a win that feels like a loss because we weren’t ourselves,” Union head coach Jim Curtin said.
