Kai Wagner Left Frustrated After Philadelphia Union's 0-0 Draw With D.C. United
The Union left back made his frustrations known with the team's play on Wednesday night.
CHESTER — Kai Wagner wasn’t happy with the Philadelphia Union’s performance on Wednesday night.
“I think it was a little bit unacceptable today with how easy we lost the balls,” Wagner said. “We weren’t good in transitions. We lost the ball too easy. The ball was just going from end to end like a track meet. That’s not how we want to play.”
The Union’s left back was visibly frustrated through parts of the game, especially in the first 45 minutes when the club employed a makeshift 4-3-2-1.
