Jim Curtin's "Full Focus" Is On Philadelphia Union Amid USMNT Opening

Curtin made it clear that is focus at the moment is making sure the Union find form and reach the MLS Cup playoffs.

Jim Curtin’s full focus is on the Philadelphia Union.

The Union manager expressed his concern with getting the Union into the playoffs first when asked about the recently-opened United States men’s national team job.

“My full focus right now is getting us out of the hole that we dug and improving the Philadelphia Union and getting ourselves into the playoffs,” Curtin said.

Curtin’s name may not be as high up on the list of potential candidates this time around, but his name has at least been put out on the list of MLS managers who could take the step up.

“Is it flattering to even have your name brought up, like it was in the past? Absolutely,” Curtin said.
