We finally saw that truly come to fruition in Wednesday’s 1-0 win over the New England Revolution that confirmed the Union’s spot in the Eastern Conference semifinal against FC Cincinnati.
Union manager Jim Curtin nailed all of his tactical tweaks and use the correct personnel off the bench to go for the win and secure the 2-0 series victory.
“Tonight was about a group of guys that had their backs against the wall, missing a lot of top players in the group and a group that just refused to lose,” Curtin said.
