The Philadelphia Union have wildly exceeded expectations in 2025.

No one expected the Union to own the highest point total in Major League Soccer coming out of May.

I can guarantee that no one believed the Union would go unbeaten during their longest run of games in a single month.

But here we are.

The Union have 34 points through 17 MLS games.

They are in the quarterfinals of the U.S. Open Cup.

They just completed a May run with six victories and three draws in nine games across all competitions.

Bradley Carnell flipped the team from outside of the postseason spots and into a true contender for the Supporters’ Shield.

And as crazy as it sounds, the Union can realistically chase two trophies with relative ease from this point on.
