CHESTER — The Philadelphia Union have made two offers to keep Kai Wagner with the club after this season.
Sporting director Ernst Tanner broke down the negotiations for reporters on Friday at Subaru Park.
The increased speculation about Wagner came after his post-match comments two weeks ago after the win over the New York Red Bulls.
“What he said is only half of the truth because we offered in February and I had another talk with him before the summer transfer window where I told him we could improve our offer, but that was not good enough,” Tanner said.
