Cavan Sullivan Makes Debut, Quinn Sullivan Scores In Memorable Night for Family
“The script was pretty perfect." - Quinn Sullivan
CHESTER — The Sullivan brothers couldn’t have scripted how 14-year-old Cavan Sullivan’s Major League Soccer debut any better.
Cavan Sullivan became the youngest-ever player to appear in a Major League Soccer match seconds after his older brother Quinn ripped the Union’s fifth goal of the night into the back of the net.
“The script was pretty perfect,” Quinn Sullivan said. “I couldn’t have imagined it any better. Cav and I were talking about goal celebrations and it’s funny he said “Bro if you plan it it’s not going to happen.” Then I came in and scored and got to celebrate with him. It was awesome. And then right away he subs in. Someone’s gotta have a cool video of my goal celebration going straight from my goal celebration to him walking up.”
