Alejandro Bedoya Reflects on Over 200 Appearances With Philadelphia Union
The 36-year-old midfielder made his 200th MLS appearance on June 24 against Inter Miami.
CHESTER — Alejandro Bedoya made his 200th appearance in Major League Soccer for the Philadelphia Union on June 24.
A lot has changed, to say the least, between the time he debuted for the club against the New England Revolution on August 13, 2016 and now.
“To see where it’s come from from Game 1, I remember the first game I started against the New England Revolution straight off a plane from France. We won 4-0. I might have lost maybe one ball. I thought this was easy,” Bedoya said in an exclusive interview at the Union’s training complex a few weeks ago.
“To come from that moment, the amount of players that have come through, the quality I’ve seen increase, not just in the league, but at this club, the professionalization of everything has been awesome,” Bedoya said.
